I started my career at BuzzFeed, lucky enough to experiment and find what I loved writing about most: relationships. I turned that passion into a new vertical, becoming the site’s love and relationships editor. I later worked as a video producer, often focusing on first-person narratives.

When I moved to Cosmopolitan as a sex and relationships editor, I combined my writing and video production skills to create content for the website and the Snapchat channel, contributing both reported stories and original animations. Gradually, my responsibilities included editing the iconic Cosmo sex positions, working with the writer and illustrator to make them cheekier and more inclusive. (They were eventually compiled into a book, for which I wrote the copy). By the end of my three years there, I was writing for the print magazine and managing a new astrology section.

During the pandemic, I briefly freelanced, writing for publications like VICE, Glamour, and the New Yorker’s Shouts and Murmurs, among others. One of those outlets was Business Insider, which had an opening for a personal development editor.

At the height of lockdowns, I edited stories about the best online courses and books, organizing a package around how to get unstuck. In my spare time, I pitched and wrote a story about a disturbing sexual trend among Gen Zers for the health section. It propelled my move to the health team, where I’m now a senior health reporter.

Since joining in 2023, I’ve written everything from features to cultural analysis. Some of my favorite projects include a series on relationship advice from long-married couples, an essay about the resurgence of romance, reporting on the world’s largest identical twin festival, and interviews with Esther Perel and Tommy Caldwell. I’ve written about parenting, fitness, nutrition, skin health, psychology, and a host of other topics, but stories about relationships — from friendships to family dynamics — remain in my wheelhouse.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy running outside, singing in a pop choir, and staring adoringly at my cat.
